Laurel Goettling, LMT

Seattle Massage Therapist
at Graham Rehabilitation & Wellness

Laurel Goettling graduated from the Seattle School of Massage Therapy in 1994. Laurel’s post graduate interests lead her to specializing in therapeutic and rehabilitative massage. She has been applying her specialized skills at Graham Rehabilitation and Wellness Center since 1999.

My techniques are very specific and customized for each patient’s needs depending on where they are in the healing process. I see a variety of problems ranging from acute injury cases to chronic postural problems. My extensive training and post-graduate studies allow me to work with many types of conditions and injuries.

Laurel’s techniques include deep tissue massage, myofacial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure, neuromuscular therapy, cross friction massage, and PIR stretching. She is currently working toward a post-graduate degree in Aston Patterning. This highly specialized postural technique offers her the ability to better evaluate and treat poor posture and abnormally established movement patterns that through repetitive use may be causing pain and discomfort.

I really enjoy working in a professional clinical setting with a team of caring practitioners. Patients just seem to respond better when a combination of therapies are used. This is how healthcare should be.

In her spare time, Laurel enjoys trail running, participating in ½ marathons and ashtanga yoga. She is married with two children and lives in Seattle.
