This week’s muscle and injury prevention tip involves the supraspinatus. The supraspinatus is one of the 4 muscles that make up the rotator cuff. It is the most commonly injured of the 4 muscles and important to keep strong to prevent subluxation or dislocation in people with hypermobility.
Two of Dr. Mayr’s favorite exercises for the rotator cuff are easy to perform anywhere with just a light weight or theraband.
